United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia – UNTAC

In early 1990’s, there was a United Nations peacekeeping operation in Cambodia, called United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC). Colonel Pierre Cantin, the Chief Welfare Officer member of the council organizing the UNTAC, is a frequent visitor of Bangkok, Thailand. One day, he walked into John’s tailoring store to get a pair of suits. After being impressed with the resulting product and service, the Colonel personally invited John to Cambodia, where UNTAC operation was taking place, to provide suits for the involved staff members organizing the UNTAC. As a result of this very kind opportunity, John produced over 3,000 suits. The project took 3 years to complete, from 1991-1994. This was the first major project overseas for John.

Salma Ataullahjan – Canadian Senator, for Ontario Province, Conservative Party of Canada.
Ray Robertson, the Executive Director/President at Grey County Agricultural Services, for Durham Region, is a walk-in client who visited John’s tailoring store in Bangkok, Thailand. Ever since receiving the services and products from John, Mr. Ray have been good friends with John. As a result, Mr. Ray recommended a few of his other good friends, David Raymond Miller, the former Mayor of City of Toronto, and Salma Ataullahjan, the Senator of Ontario, to John. John made custom-made apparels for both individuals.

Paul McQueen – Mayor of Grey Highlands Municipality, ON, Canada

Dr. Willie Wilbert Herenton – Former Mayor of Memphis, Tennessee.
On John’s business trips to service clients in one of his most visited cities, Memphis, Tennessee, he grew a close relationship with the General Manager of a Radisson Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee, Mr. Jesse Chatman. Mr. Jesse Chatman is good friends with Dr. Willie W. Herenton, the former Mayor of Memphis, Tennessee. As a result, John was referred by Mr. Jesse. Dr. Willie W. Herenton personally invited John to his office to get his sizes measured and make an order.

Of course, regular common Suits and formal clothing are easy and we've mastered that. But we feel we should mention that we've also created hundreds of very specific designs, requested from clients-- so specific that it is impossible to obtain anywhere else. Different colored buttons, shiny trims, double layered Lapels, initials on your Suit, or even custom-made pattern on your fabric, we've done them. We have experience crafting completely new and never-done-before designs.
